History 

​I have worked for many years in the NHS and the non statutory sector, mainly in the field of drugs and alcohol treatment - both as a counsellor and a manager.



I have trained in a variety of approaches including humanistic client centred, and cognitive behavioural therapies.



I am a fully qualified and accredited clinical hypnotherapist with a:

​

• Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (DHP) following training with The Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training School (CPHT), an accredited centre of excellence in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy. 

• Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD) which is jointly accredited by the National Council of Hypnotherapy (NCH) and NCFE National Awarding Body.

I am a member of the National Council of Hypnotherapy which holds one of the largest registers of independent hypnotherapists in the UK and maintains the highest standards by requiring its members to adhere to the agreed Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics, and to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance.
